If you do some research on Tidewater before you book your reservation, you’ll probably come across quite a few mixed reviews. After doing our own studies, it really does seem that the satisfaction of guests is often highly dependent on the particular condo in which they stayed. With a resort of this size, there are going to be some highly varied opinions according to the quality of the unit rented. Our advice would be to carefully search out the particular unit in which you will be staying. Some of the owners put a lot more pride into their condos than others. So you’ll want to make sure you get one of the quality units. SouthernResorts.com seems to have a really good track record among previous renters, so you might want to check them out and possibly make reservations through them. VRBO.com is another good site to use.
There are some things to be aware of are that are often prevalent in most sizable beach resorts. During the busiest times, there will be a wait for check-in and check-out, use of luggage racks, elevators and morning lines to reserve pool and beach chairs.
